News</font></u> <br>Happy New Year from all of us at KJAB. Wouldn't it be
wonderful if this was the year we could "meet at the gate" together? We
certainly hope you know the Lord as your Saviour, and if He does come
this year, you will be ready to meet Jesus in Heaven.
<br><strong>BIG MINISTRY CHANGE</strong><br>For the past 15 years I have been
the pastor of Ole Country Baptist Church and the General Manager of KJAB, a
ministry of the church. These have been two very full time jobs, and it
has been a joy to do both. For the past couple of
years though, the Lord has been making clear that my focus is to be in
the ministry of radio and not as the pastor of the church. I have
moved slowly in this decision, working to make sure I understood the mind and
direction of the Lord. In December of 2007, Ole Country Baptist Church
voted to call Adam Weber, my son, to become their pastor. We are
thrilled. Bro. Adam has been an Assistant Pastor at the First Baptist
Church of Long Beach CA for the last three years. Bro. Adam's entire life
has been spent in the minstry working side by side with us here, and
then in minstry in CA. Please remember him and his family as they
move here from Long Beach on the 7th of January. If you want to drop him
an e-mail of congratulation, you can reach him at </font><a href="mailto:aweber@icuunlimited.com"><font face=Verdana

SHARE-A-THON</a><br></strong>The dates for this years Spring Share-a-thon are
March 10th - 16th. If you are local to the area, you will especially want
to know we are moving the Share-a-thon location to the Lake Lenore Center.
This beautiful meeting facility can seat over 200 people comfortably
and will give us the room we have so desperately needed. There is plenty
of parking, and ample room for our meals as well. It is located just three
miles north of Mexico, on Hwy 15. Our thanks to owner Jim Swaim for making
this location available. <br>As always we will have a great group of men
working the anchor desk, and The Cases, and Bro. Kurt LaBouve will be returning
to provide <strong>gospel music</strong> this year. We will
also have several new groups joining us to sing, <a
href="http://www.mccloskeyfamilyministries.com/">The McCloskey's</a>, The
West's, The Kallmeyers, and some others. Our Spring Share-a-thon
always has a revival theme with two preaching services each day. Mark your
calendar for this years Spring Share-a-thon.<br></p></font></font></font>

he planned to visit on his vacation.<br>He wrote:"I would very much like to
bring my dog with me. He is well-groomed and very well behaved. Would you be
willing to permit me to keep him in my room with me at night?"<br>An immediate
reply came from the hotel owner, who wrote:<br>"I've been operating this hotel
for many years. In all that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes,
silverware or pictures off the walls. I've never had to evict a dog in the
middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly. And I've never had a dog run
out on a hotel bill. Yes, indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel. And, if your
dog will vouch for you, you're welcome to stay here, too."</font></font></p>
